Think of one task you have today, in this lesson or later, and picture it in front of you.

Ask yourself two quiet questions: how far does this task stretch me, and how ready do my skills feel for it?

We tend to get absorbed when the stretch and the skill are close together. If the task feels far beyond you, find one small part closer to what you can already do.

If it feels too easy, think of one way to make it a little more interesting. Keep that part in mind as we begin.
